Forest bathing in summer is very intense. It fills us with light, air and energy. We absorb this energy in the form of colours, shapes and smells and relax, reset our minds and regain balance and strength.

Autumn FOREST BATHING – Forest pharmacy – herbal roots, seeds and fruits

SO, 05.10.25 at 2:00 p.m.
In the autumn forest we discover ripe fruits and roam through rustling leaves. The forest air smells of mushrooms and damp leaves. Now it is time to dig up the healthy roots of the forest wild herbs of carnation root, nettle, dandelion and dry them for the cold season.

About Shinrin-Yoku

In Japan, “Shinrin-Yoku” – forest (air) bathing – is a medically recognised method for health and burn-out prevention. The phytoncides and terpenes of the forest reduce stress and stimulate the immune system and the body’s own regeneration processes. They strengthen the heart, reduce brain activity and the stress hormone cortisol and ease mental stress. So if you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the forest, you are doing your health good.

Back to nature! Consciously perceive the senses, calm your thoughts, gather strength and feel healthy – that’s what the forest bathing4resilienz tour offers. Perception and breathing exercises, meditation, sensory experiences and land art support the mindful immersion in nature in order to experience its healing power directly. The forest bathing tour always takes place outside and lasts approx. 2 hours. The events each have a special focus and take place in the most beautiful forest areas of the Taunus.

Hints: Please bring weather appropriate clothing and a seat pad / cushion.

Participation information: anyone who can move sure-footedly through the forest can take part. Stamina / fitness is not necessary, as we will often be strolling. It is advisable to leave active children and dogs at home for this event so that you can immerse yourself in nature and the forest undisturbed.
