About the tour
Together with the herbalist Esther Engelke we will go on a wild plant discovery trip into nature. We will get to know the most common edible wild herbs with all our senses. We will smell, taste and feel the wild plants and learn about their distinctive features, their healing properties and culinary uses.
This afternoon is not about letting a multitude of plants glide through our hands, but the focus is on exploring and sensually experiencing a few selected wild plants together, so that these plants can be safely recognised and found elsewhere.
At the end of the tour, there will be small herbal delicacies for all participants as a tasting.
Coming from the direction of Platter Straße: after the northern cemetery and the leisure area “Unter den Eichen”, take the 1st turn left onto Hupfeldweg and drive into the 1st car park on the right. If this car park is full, please drive back briefly and turn right into the next car park, which is also called the Fischzucht car park. From there, please walk back to the original meeting point.
Coming from the direction of Aarstraße: after the Adamstal estate, turn right into Fischzuchtweg, drive past the Fischzucht restaurant and turn into the first car park on the left. Fischzuchtweg turns into Hupfeldweg. If this car park is full, please continue briefly in the direction of travel, there is another car park which is also called the Fischzucht car park. From there, please walk back to the original meeting point.
